The City of Williston seeks a qualified candidate to serve as the City's Planner and Grants Manager. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Government, Urban Design, Economics, Social Science, Geography, Statistics or other comparable field of study; Familiarity with the principles and practice of urban planning; Familiarity with Land Use and Comprehensive Planning requirements in the State of Florida; Ability to read, understand, interpret and apply the requirements set forth in the City's Land Development Regulations; Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred qualifications: Familiarity with State and Federal grant programs; Demonstrated experience with GIS software; ArcMap preferred; Familiarity with Code Enforcement process and procedures and applicable State Statutes; Familiarity with Redevelopment and applicable State Statutes.
